  • To avoid flat muffin tops – bake muffins at high temperature and then lower temperature after a few minutes.
  • For better mixing and consistent texture – ingredients like eggs and milk should be at room temperature.
  • To avoid tough muffins – do not overmix, mix the ingredients until they are just moistened and combined.
  • To avoid ledges around the rims of your pans – grease muffin pans from the bottom up to halfway of the sides.
  • For the best rise and texture – fill muffin pans 2/3 to 3/4 full.
  • Muffins are done when – tops are golden or when a toothpick inserted at the center of the muffin comes out clean.
  • Enrich your muffins with – nuts, fruits, cereals, chocolates, etc.
  • Always bake within – the day of preparing.

Storage Recommendations

  • If you plan to eat them within a day or two – store them in an airtight container at room temperature.
  • To keep your muffins fresh – use airtight containers, they retain moisture.
  • For longer storage – wrap muffins individually with foil or plastic, then freeze for up to three months.
